Our server, Greg, and his team were awesome! Greg never rushed or dumped us and the place was very busy. The staff were trained very well and picked up dishes, poured water ice tea, and kept the table clean. They covered Greg for dessert and Greg came and checked to monitor proper delivery and appropriate utensils were available. The after dinner coffee was wonderful!!
My wife had a small event planned at SBICCA in Del Mar on Saturday night. We drove down the coast on Sunday so I could enjoy the atmosphere. Alec the G M greeted us immediately and was glad to see my wife and introduced himself. He sat us immediately and we enjoyed libations, appetizers, and the ambiance. The food is amazing and Eddie our waiter was very attentive. By the way as we were leaving the owner came by with Alec and gave us a hug and took time to talk with us.... Five star for sure. Rarely do I leave a five star review and trust me this place is a treasure. Please make sure you take time to stop in and have a drink and appetizer you won’t regret it! Just Lovely

The lineup we ordered included calamari, sliders, and sweet potato fries, and each dish was a standout. Paired with a flavorful dipping sauce, it was one of the best we’ve had and set the tone for a delicious spread. Next came the sliders, which were an absolute treat. The patties were juicy, well-seasoned, and served on soft, fresh buns. Topped with crisp veggies and cheese, each slider was packed with balanced flavors and just the right size to make you want more without being overwhelming. They were ideal for sharing or enjoying solo. The sweet potato fries rounded out our order. These were just the right blend of crispy and soft, seasoned perfectly to highlight their natural sweetness. The dipping sauce added a touch of extra flavor, making them an irresistible snack. Pricing is reasonable. Everything we ordered was delicious. The shrimp gnocchi was delicious and the craft cocktails are very good (I got the Tito’s Crush). Great ocean views on the patio.
Delicious food, nice atmosphere, and good service. From the patio seating you can watch the sunset as you eat. As a foodie, we like to try dishes you don’t see everyday. We tried the Crispy Chicken Buns. Those really made my night to find unique dish that was ghat good. Note for some, they are a little spicy. We also enjoyed the halibut. It was most, favorable, and cooked perfectly. They also have space in a back area for seating.
Sbicca is a unique dining experience in Del Mar. Food, service and atmosphere are amazing. Shishito Peppers and Charcuterie are my favorites. Never had a bad meal and the view never disappoints.
An excellent restaurant just a short distance from Del Mar beach. Nice indoor and outdoor seating options with some ocean views. A great menu with amazing food. The fried chicken is awesome. Very good staff that were friendly and knowledgeable. Just a nice place to go for a casual dinner or even a group gathering.
